Vita

Shane Anderson is the author of the chapbook Soft Passer (Mindmade Books) and the experimental prose book Études des Gottnarrenmaschinen (Broken Dimanche Press). Having received a BA in Philosophy and Comparative Literature, he moved to Berlin in 2008 and has since worked as a translator and bookseller at St. George's English Bookstore, where he hosts the reading series HERE! HERE! THERE! In 2016, he was invited by Berliner Festspiele to curate a series of readings at the internationales literaturfestival berlin. He will be a poet in residence at Skulptur Projekte's 'Kur und Kür' in Münster in 2017 and has worked for contemporary artists, such as Tino Sehgal. Among other places, his poems and translations can be found in 6x6, Asymptote, Edit, Plinth, Triple Canopy, Natalie Czech's 'Il Pleut' series and Matthew Barney's 'River of Fundament' (Skira Rizzoli). His translation of Ulf Stolterfoht’s The Amme Talks was published by Triple Canopy in 2017. He lives in Berlin.
