Gemeinsam mit Gästen, FilmemacherInnen und DichterInnen feiern wir den Auftakt des diesjährigen ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival in Berlin. Wir präsentieren einen filmischen Ausblick auf die Highlights und Programmschwerpunkte. Es lesen die Dichterinnen Kinga Toth und TJ Dema, dazu gibt es Musik des kanadischen Künstlers Stephen Paul Taylor.
Das ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival wird veranstaltet vom Haus für Poesie in Kooperation mit der Yorck Kinogruppe. Gefördert aus Mitteln des Landes Berlin / Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa und des Auswärtigen Amts sowie mit freundlicher Unterstützung des Goethe-Instituts, der Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG und interfilm Berlin. Der Kanada/Québec Fokus ist Teil von Kanadas Kulturprogramm als Ehrengast der Frankfurter Buchmesse 2020/21 und wird unterstützt von der Regierung von Kanada (Botschaft von Kanada) und der Regierung von Québec. Präsentiert von taz, Berliner Fenster, Berliner Filmfestivals und EXBERLINER.

We are celebrating the opening of this year’s ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival in Berlin together with guests, film makers and poets. We present a film preview of the highlights and programme focuses. The poets Kinga Toth and TJ Dema are reading, besides there is music by the Canadian artist Stephen Paul Taylor.
The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is hosted by the Haus für Poesie in co-operation with the Yorck Kinogruppe. It is sponsored by funding from the Land Berlin / the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe and from the Federal Foreign Office, and gratefully acknowledges the kind support of the Goethe-Institut, Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG and interfilm Berlin.
