And the winner is … 34 Filme konkurrieren im Internationalen Wettbewerb um vier Preise im Gesamtwert von 12.000 €: den „ZEBRA-Preis für den besten Poesiefilm“, den „Goethe Filmpreis“, den „Ritter Sport Filmpreis“ sowie den „Preis für den besten Film für Toleranz“, gestiftet vom Auswärtigen Amt. Vergeben werden sie von einer internationalen Jury, bestehend aus Maren Kames, Tom Konyves und Martina Nix. Im ZEBRINO-Wettbewerb wird darüber hinaus ein Publikumspreis vergeben. Musikalisch begleitet wird die Preisverleihung von Miles Perkin.
Das ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival wird veranstaltet vom Haus für Poesie in Kooperation mit der Yorck Kinogruppe. Gefördert aus Mitteln des Landes Berlin / Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa und des Auswärtigen Amts sowie mit freundlicher Unterstützung des Goethe-Instituts, der Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG und interfilm Berlin. Der Kanada/Québec Fokus ist Teil von Kanadas Kulturprogramm als Ehrengast der Frankfurter Buchmesse 2020/21 und wird unterstützt von der Regierung von Kanada (Botschaft von Kanada) und der Regierung von Québec. Präsentiert von taz, Berliner Fenster, Berliner Filmfestivals und EXBERLINER.

And the winner is … 34 films are competing in the Germany-wide competition for four awards with a total value of € 12,000 – the "ZEBRA Award for the Best Poetry Film", the "Goethe Film Award", the "Ritter Sport Film Award" and the "Award for the Best Film for Tolerance", donated by the Federal Foreign Office. The prizes will be awarded by the jury comprising Maren Kames, Tom Konyves and Martina Nix. An Audience award will also be awarded in the ZEBRINO competition. The award ceremony will have musical accompaniment from Miles Perkin.
The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is hosted by the Haus für Poesie in co-operation with the Yorck Kinogruppe. It is sponsored by funding from the Land Berlin / the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe and from the Federal Foreign Office, and gratefully acknowledges the kind support of the Goethe-Institut, Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG and interfilm Berlin.
