Mit der Abschlussveranstaltung wird die Gründung der MEU und die Unterzeichnung des Gesetzentwurfs der Union gefeiert. Vertreter der Vereinigung werden den Entwurf vorlesen, woraufhin im Anschluss die Deligierten der Union eingeladen sind, diesen Gesetzentwurf zu unterschreiben. Dichter aus verschiedenen Ländern der Union werden sich die Bühne teilen und speziell für diesen Anlass verfasste Gedichte vortragen. Die Veranstaltung wird den Beginn einer neuen Phase in der Politik des Nahen Ostens markieren.

Rasha Nahas wird mit ihrer Band Songs aus ihrem neuen Album “Desert” vorstellen, ergänzt durch Lieder in arabischer Sprache.
Die Veranstaltung findet in englischer Sprache statt – mit einer Lesung in Deutsch, Hebräisch, Kurdisch, Englisch und Arabisch.

Wir empfehlen, bei schönem Wetter bereits ab 19 Uhr in den Garten der Novilla zu kommen und ein kühles Getränk zu genießen. (Kinderspielplatz nahebei.)

Diese Veranstaltung ist als Open-Air-Programm im schönen Garten der Novilla geplant. Im Fall von schlechtem Wetter findet das Programm im Haus statt. Beachten Sie bitte: Es gelten die Corona-Regeln des Berliner Senats (Kontaktdaten werden beim Einlass abgefragt, im Falle schlechten Wetters erhalten zur Indoor-Veranstaltung nur Personen Zutritt, die ihre Impfung oder Genesung nachweisen können oder einen gültigen, negativen Corona-Test haben und eine FFP2-Maske tragen).

Live-Event
The closing event will celebrate the confirmation of the Middle East Union and the signing of its legislative bill. Representatives of the union will read the bill, afterwards the delegates of each community will be invited to sign it. Poets of the union will share the stage and read poetry composed especially for the occasion. The event will mark the beginning of a new phase in middle eastern politics.

Rasha Nahas will be performing with her band from her new album “Desert” in addition to a couple of songs in Arabic.
The event will be held in English – with a reading in German, Hebrew, Kurdish, English and Arabic.
No advance sales, no advance reservations. We recommend to come to the garden of Novilla already from 7 pm, if the weather is nice, and enjoy a cool drink. (Children’s playground nearby.)

This event is planned as an open-air program in the beautiful garden of the Novilla. In case of bad weather the program will take place indoors. Please note: The Corona rules of the Berlin Senate apply (contact details will be requested at the entrance, in case of bad weather only people who can prove their vaccination or recovery or have a valid negative Corona test and wear a FFP2 mask will be admitted to the indoor event).
