Katarina Gotic Damiani

Katarina Gotic Damiani  is a poet whose practice spans experimental writing, translation, performance, and visual work, engaging language as a site of experimentation, negotiation, and material encounter. She is the author of three poetry collections—we need a breathing tongue between (kith books, 2024), where am i in the world? (2025), and leerlauf (parasitenpresse, 2026)—and has developed a series of language-based works exploring translinguality, fragmentation, and the loss of mothertongue(s).

Her practice has been supported by several grants and awards, including the Work Stipend for Non-German Literature (2023), the Research Scholarship for Translators (2024), and project and reading-series funding (2025) from the Berlin Senate.

She is a PhD candidate in Artistic Research at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

She lives in Berlin.
