Nora Amin, 1970 in Kairo geboren, ist freie Autorin, Performerin, Choreografien und Theatermacherin. Im Jahr 2000 gründete sie die Lamusica Independent Theatre Group in Kairo. Seit 2015 lebt sie in Berlin. Ihr Essay "Weiblichkeit im Aufbruch" ist 2018 im Verlag Matthes & Seitz  erschienen. 2019 wurde ihr das Arbeitstipendium für fremdsprachige Berliner Autor·innen des Berliner Senats zuerkannt.
Von Annie Ernaux hat sie selbst die Bücher "​​​​​​Je ne suis pas sortie de ma nuit und L´autre fille ins Arabische übersetzt.
